Château Haut-Bourbon

The Story

Château Haut-Bourbon is a Bordeaux of generous shoulders — supple, round, immediately welcoming. The 2022 vintage was warm and even, and the resulting wine speaks the open, fruit-forward dialect of the right-bank blends that have long built Bordeaux's reputation as a table companion.

It is not a wine that demands ceremony. Open it for friends, decant briefly, and serve at cellar temperature. There is room here for grilled meats, slow stews, an evening of long conversation.
